Saamy Square is an upcoming Indian Tamil language action-entertainer film written and directed by Hari. The film is a sequel to 2003 mega blockbuster film Saamy. Saamy was made on a budget of Rs 5 crore and it went on to collect more than 50 crore making it one of the biggest blockbuster of that time. Now after 15 years, it’s sequel “Saamy Square” has been made and it is also expected to shatter many box-office records. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for this film.

Saamy featured Trisha Krishan alongside Chiyaan Vikram but in Saamy Square, Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the female lead. Saamy Square trailer was released on June 3rd and it received mixed response. While mass audience has liked it’s action and locations, normal audience has given a thumbs down to the trailer due to it’s bad dialouges and cut.

Saamy Square Story :

Saamy Square story is said to be a continuation to the first part Saamy. It is heard that Saamy Square story is set 29 years later from it’s prequel. In Saamy, Aarusaamy (Chiyaan Vikram) brings down the corrupt Perumal Pichai played by veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao and it looks like the revenge drama continues between the sons of Aarusaamy and Perumal Pichai in Saamy Square.

Just like the previous films of Hari, Saamy Square is also made on a huge scale. Saamy Square Budget is said to be around Rs 60 crore which is one of the highest in Vikram’s career.
